Lincolnwood School District 74
  • Dear Lincolnwood 74 Families and Community Members,

The 2016-17 school year has progressed nicely, winter seems to be leaving with a whimper, and our students continue to excel both inside and outside of the classroom in academics, fine arts, athletics, and more.

The Lincoln Hall Phase One renovation is officially completed and all areas are open to students and staff. Please stop in when convenient and take a tour of our new learning/work spaces. The difference between old and new is remarkable and we are "pumped" about the start of Phase Two renovations to begin at the end of the current school year.  In the meantime, students and staff continue to acclimate to their new classrooms, resources, lunchroom, and work spaces. The positive feedback that we have received about the renovations from our student body continue to roll in as students discover the benefits that have been provided to them through Lincolnwood School District 74 with your continuous support.

While winter appears to be fading, the Farmer's Almanac tells us that we're not, "out of the woods, yet," where it involves nasty weather. As I've shared previously, please be aware of District 74’s Emergency Closing Procedures for inclement weather conditions. You can review this information on the District's Emergency Closings page.

As always, if you have any questions, concerns or comments, please call the District office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 847-675-8234, or send us an email at

    Yours for better schools,
