"I wanted to take a moment to express just how grateful and appreciative we all are for the support and responsiveness extended by [Lincoln Hall Staff] in coordinating these efforts. With each exchange, both of them continue to impress with the understanding they have for the circumstances and the flexibility they are willing to offer. Their support has opened the door for my child, as I'm sure others, to explore their abilities and talents in multiple ways without guilt or frustration, allowing them to fully enjoy each experience and learn about responsibility and communication along the way. What a fantastic environment to find yourself in as a student (and parent)! We are incredibly thankful to both of them and to the school for the work that goes into making these wonderful experiences a possibility. We hope to support that work in whatever way we can over the years."-Lincoln Hall Parents
Local Veterans sent the following emails to Dr. Bailey:
Thank you for such an inspiring tribute to our veterans! As I mentioned in my remarks, I came at my grandson’s request, not knowing what to expect. It was impressive to see a large group of young, culturally diverse students display such patriotism.
Your remarks were spot on! Please extend my gratitude to all of those that made this recognition so enjoyable. Thank you and your staff for your service to these children!"
"Greetings Dr. Bailey,
I just received a phone message from you regarding Veteran’s day and the opportunity to attend and/or participate in District 74’s Veteran’s Day remembrance. Thank you, what a wonderful opportunity and great way to value those who have served in our military and are from our community. Way to Go! It was delightful to hear your voice, very fun!"
The Lincolnwood Public Library sent an email thanking the District for installing apps on the 1:1 iPads that would help improve some public library experiences:
“We've helped at least a half dozen kids with the CardStar and LPLD library apps -- it's been so wonderful having those on their iPads already. Many kids who don't carry their library cards don’t know their numbers, and then never check out materials because they can't, not having their cards -- but now that they have their iPads, we are teaching them to put the card numbers into CardStar... they always have their iPads after school! It's been wonderful.”
"Thank you for opening up the community to receive SD74 news. I have a child who is almost 3 years old and I want to learn more about District 74 before she enters kindergarten."
"Thank you for allowing us to receive SD74 news. Our grandchild attend your schools and we would like to be involved in their educational experience."

"I just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with the subtle changes that have been occurring, specifically the videos and slide shows on the SD 74 website. it is so refreshing to have the school open up their doors and connect with the parents and the community. Just viewing the videos and winter slide show enables us to glimpse into our children's school environment and day to day activities. In addition, our children get very excited to see images of themselves within their school. It makes them feel connected and proud to be part of their school."

"Dear administration, teachers and staff at District 74:
Today there is an article about our daughter in the Lincolnwood edition of the Pioneer Press. It discusses her achievements at University of Illinois and highlights she is a Niles West graduate. My wife and I would like to sincerely thank District 74 for providing a solid educational foundation for our daughter. Regretfully the article does not mention District 74, but we could not have hoped for a better experience for her nine years from K-8 during which she was provided with the solid educational foundation upon which she has been able to achieve academic success in high school and college."
