RSS Feed Me: Subscribing to Blogs

The best way to keep up with our teacher blogs is to subscribe to them. It is much like subscribing to the Chicago Trib or Sun Times. Once you have signed up for a subscription, you have the newspaper delivered right to your front door. In this new age of technology, we have blogs - the modern newspaper - and blog readers - the kids on their paper routes delivering the newspaper. You can subscribe to blogs through a feed called RSS - real simple syndication. And you can read through several blogs in one reader, never having to leave a web browser window. In a nutshell, a blog reader is an aggregator of blog feeds.

So back to our web site and teacher blogs. You can use a blog reader, like Google Reader, to subscribe to as many teacher blogs as you need. You can then just check one place, your blog reader to quickly see if there is any new information that has been posted. Free feed readers like Google Reader are great ways to keep up with the ever changing world...and our on-the-go kids.
