Mrs. Mari Garvonado

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Mrs. Garvonado.

This is my 12th year teaching at Rutledge Hall, and my 13th year teaching overall.

I hold the following degrees and certifications:

• B.A. in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago

• M.A. in Special Education and General Education from DePaul University

• Also endorsed in Teacher Leadership, English Language Learners, and Language Arts.

I was born and raised in Evanston, IL and live just five blocks from my old elementary school. My wife and two children all love to garden and play pretend school at home. 

I look forward to spending this year together!
