For the 7th grade, the focus in global studies is world geography. I will be teaching as much human and physical geography as I can in 7 weeks. The Students in Geography alive are provided with interactive activities that help make learning geography exciting.  For example, when we learn about mountain ranges the students participate a simulated climb up Mount Everest.  They are also expect to learn the location of many countries in the world.  We cover Asia, Europe, North and South America, and parts of Africa.  Also the major important physical features in the continents such as deserts, mountain ranges, and bodies of water are covered.
