Dr. John Jones

 

Welcome to orchestra! My name is Dr. Jones. This is my 18th year teaching in SD74 and my 19th year teaching overall.

 

I hold a bachelor's degree in music performance from DePaul University, a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Systems and Learning Science from Indiana University.

 

I grew up in Germany and Texas, immersing myself in music at an early age. I then served four years in the United States Marine Corps Band before moving to Chicago. I look forward to making music with you this year!
