A smiling woman with long blonde hair wearing a black top and a necklace with floral designs.

Hi, my name is Dena Swidler and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Drake University and a master’s degree in education, along with an EL endorsement, from Concordia University.

This is my 12th year at Todd Hall. I previously taught kindergarten for three years in Chicago Public Schools, as well as first and second grades in Waukegan Public Schools. I live in Deerfield, IL, with my husband, Brad, and our adorable daughters Emmy (8) and Jori (5).
