Jennifer Tunelius

Welcome to reading Iintervention! My name is Mrs. Tunelius.

This is my 33rd year of teaching in Lincolnwood! I taught language arts/reading at Lincoln Hall for 15 years and this will be my 18th year as the reading intervention teacher at Rutledge Hall.

I hold a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Iowa (Go, Hawks!), a master's degree in interdisciplinary teaching and instruction from National Louis University, and a master's degree in reading specialization from Concordia University.

I was born and raised in Illinois. My favorite book growing up was "Alexander and the Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst. When I taught at Lincoln Hall my favorite books to teach were "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie and "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. I look forward to spending this year together!
