Theresa Hill

Hello! My name is Theresa Hill, and I’m excited to begin my second year as the second- and third-grade social worker at both Todd Hall and Rutledge Hall. This year marks my fifth year as a school social worker. I'm looking forward to working with our wonderful students, families, and staff! 

As the school social worker, I support students by: 

  • Meeting individually or in small groups to address areas like problem-solving, coping strategies, friendship skills, and other personal or social concerns that may impact school success
  • Collaborating with parents, educators, and outside providers to support students' needs
  • Connecting families with helpful community or outside resources
I hold bachelor’s degrees in social work and Spanish, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
