Curriculum and Instruction

During the 2023-2024 school year, we undertook two major curriculum adoptions throughout the District. First, our K-5 math team elected to move forward with the Carnegie Learning/Clear Math program. As a result of this decision, all students in Kindergarten through eighth grade will now experience seamless mathematics instruction as we also adopted and implemented Carnegie Learning’s Middle School Math Solutions program at Lincoln Hall just last year. We look forward to seeing our students grow in their capabilities and understanding of mathematics as they progress through these programs.

Our middle school science team also participated in an extensive curricular review process and elected to adopt the Amplify Science program. Much like the selected math program, Amplify Science is conceptual and will get students thinking like scientists as they ask questions and learn through discovery and research. As we look ahead to the 2024-2025 school year, we will examine our K-8 literacy programming.

We take immense pride in providing a high-quality educational experience for students in Lincolnwood SD74. Through our continuous program review cycle, we are building excitement for learning and looking forward to what is to come!
