Mr. Travis DuPriest

Hello. My name is Travis DuPriest. I am the 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Lincoln Hall Middle School as well as the Social Studies department chair.   

Welcome to United States history of the 19th and 20th centuries. I enjoy engaging everyone in the analysis of past events and how they shape our current lives today. 

I hold the following degrees and certifications:

• B.A. in Sociology from Drake University

• M.A.T. in Secondary Education teaching the Social Sciences with a Middle Level endorsement from National Louis University

• M.A. in History from Northeastern Illinois University

• Endorsement in English as a Second Language from National Louis University

Along with my teaching commitment, I am also the Co-President of the Lincolnwood Teachers Association (LTA). I am also a sports fan and my two favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers.
