Dr. John Jones

Welcome to Orchestra! My name is Dr. Jones.

This is my 18th year teaching in SD74, and my 19th year teaching overall.

I hold the following degrees and certifications:

• B.M. in Music Performance from DePaul University
• M.M.Ed. in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music
• Ed.D. in Instructional Systems and Learning Science from Indiana University

I grew up in Germany and Texas, immersing myself in music at an early age. I then served four years in the United States Marine Corps Band before moving to Chicago. 

I look forward to making music with you this year!
