Mrs. Brigita Markevics

My name is Mrs. Brigita Markevics and I am excited to be your child's teacher this school year! I have been teaching in the field of special education for the past 26 years, with 15 of those years teaching K-2 at Todd Hall.

My interests include spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, fishing, and gardening. My family consists of my loving husband of 23 years, Martin, and two five-year-old chocolate labs, Lita and her brother Ziggy.

I hold the following degrees and certifications:

• B.S. in Education from Eastern Illinois University

• M.A. in Education: Reading Specialist from Concordia University

• M.A. in Education: EL from National Lewis University
