Mrs. Susie Codell

My name is Susie Codell and I am the 6th grade reading teacher here at Lincoln Hall. I have happily been a teacher for 20+ years. Through the years, I’ve taught 8th grade, 6th grade, 5th, 3rd, and 1st grades in Chicago and suburban schools. My favorite years have been here at Lincoln Hall. I am Nationally Board Certified and I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Language Arts, Social Studies, and Special Education.

I have four children of my own; a son and three daughters. My life at home helps shape my work as a teacher. My motto is life is what you make it. So be polite, be prepared, and be ready for the best school year ever!
