Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan
I am thrilled to be an Interventionist at Lincoln Hall! Before joining the Lincolnwood community in 2018, I was a classroom teacher for 12 years and a Reading Specialist for 7 years. I graduated from New Trier Township High School and John Carroll University, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. Post college, I served with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Oregon, before beginning my teaching career on the south side of Chicago. I later obtained a Masters as a Reading Specialist from Northeastern Illinois University, as well as an ELL endorsement from Concordia University, Chicago.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. My children are avid readers like I am, keeping my personal library strong with all the “best books” middle school kids will love. Otherwise, I am a former high school and college volleyball player, and I love to keep busy with exercise--and supporting the LH Fossils!
I look forward to another great year ahead.
Go Jaguars!
