Ms. Valerie Figueroa

Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Ms. Figueroa. 

This is my sixth year teaching at Rutledge Hall. 

I hold the following degrees and certifications: 

• B.S. in Elementary Education from DePaul University

• M.S. in Community and Teacher Leaders from Northeastern Illinois University 

• Endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL) from DePaul University

• Endorsement in Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) from Northeastern Illinois University

I am an animal lover and have a rescue chihuahua terrier named Xan. He is a small dog with a big personality! I enjoy taking him on walks around the neighborhood daily. 

I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Lincolnwood's students and families.
