Mrs. Carly DeNoi
Hello!
My name is Mrs. DeNoi! I am thrilled to be a member of the Lincoln Hall family and have an opportunity to interact with you all throughout the upcoming school year. Before I address my outlook and view on the helping profession, I would like to tell you some information about myself! I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development. I also graduated with my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in School Social Work. You would think that I am a huge Illini fan, but I am actually a Chicago sports fan (Go Cubs and Blackhawks!) I love spending quality time with my family, friends, wife, daughter, and two dogs! I also enjoy traveling, cooking, and reading. This is my eleventh year as a school social worker. I completed my practicum in a kindergarten-eighth grade setting. I was a social worker in a high school for one year. I was also a social worker in a middle school for six years before coming to Lincoln Hall.
I am incredibly passionate about the field of social work and the significant outlet that it provides for families and children in need. My hope is to empower and advocate for students and parents and assist them in finding their voice, offer optional resources and support to individuals through community programs and local organizations, and focus on enhancing the social and emotional well-being of each and every student at Lincoln Hall. I am interested in creating a safe and comfortable environment where students can thrive and flourish. In doing so, I hope to work with students during various settings to provide them with opportunities to integrate the tools and skills that we review in real-life scenarios.
If you ever have a question or information that you need to address, please know that I am only a phone call/e-mail away. I am excited to work as a team to ensure that we are creating the most positive and successful educational experiences for every student in District 74! GO JAGUARS!!
