Mr. John Wong

Welcome to Todd Hall Physical Education. My name is John Wong and I have taught physical education here for the last four years. I also spent 13 years teaching at the Chicago Public Schools. I have also taught health, physical education, sport psychology, exercise prescription, and fitness for law enforcement at Triton College. Previously, I worked as an Information Technology Assistant for four years at Todd Hall.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, playing sports, and spending time with my family. My wife Sara and I have two children: Charlotte and Caleb. We live in West Rogers Park in the City of Chicago near the border of Lincolnwood. I am also a die-hard Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan.

I am involved in my community by volunteering with a Support Service Unit, which responds to Chicago Fire and Police Departments incidents, and with City of Evanston Emergency Management.

My passions as a physical education teacher are teaching and coaching students about making healthy choices, physical activity, and sports performance, and helping them become global citizens.
