The student services department implements instructional programs and coordinates resources for students receiving support from special services.
By working to remove barriers to inclusive practices, guiding building-level teams in managing 504 and health plans, and overseeing curriculum review processes to ensure alignment with best practices and standards in EL and intervention programming, the Director of Student Services is committed to meeting the needs of all students.
504 Eligibility
Students with disabilities who do not qualify for an individualized education plan (IEP) may qualify for services under Section 504 if the student has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, has a record of a physical or mental impairment, or is regarded as having a physical or mental impairment.
