We look forward to welcoming our students back to school this week! As we kick off the 2026-2027 school year, we’re excited to celebrate with our annual Ice Cream Social. All SD74 students, families, and staff members are invited to attend.

• What: Ice Cream Social, hosted by PALS (People Active with Lincolnwood Schools) - A free, fun-filled event to kick off the new school year.
• When: Friday, August 28 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
• Where: Lincoln Hall grounds and Rutledge Hall playground/gaga ball area
• Activities: Enjoy music, magic shows, photo opportunities, face painting, arts and crafts, and more!
• Food: Grab dinner and treats from the Pinoy Grill, Tacomotora, and Hello Boba food trucks.
• Ice cream: Choose from an assortment of nut-free ice cream treats. Non-dairy options will also be available.
• Special guests: We are happy to welcome Lincolnwood Public Library, Lincolnwood Fire Department, Lincolnwood Police Department, Lincolnwood Girl Scouts, and more.
