THANK YOU: Solar Eclipse

Thank you to all SD74 families, alumni, Lincolnwood residents, law enforcement officials, and nearby neighbors in attendance at the August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse Viewing! On behalf of the District and PTA, it was a pleasure to host such an event for the Lincolnwood community. It was a great turnout!

Goal #3 of the Lincolnwood School District 74 Strategic Plan is "strengthen community outreach and collaboration." Today's event allowed many community partners to gather together. Student [& community] learning was present through the Eclipse Presentation that was held in the Rutledge Hall Gymnasium, where all guests had the opportunity to receive background on the science behind the solar eclipse and how to safely and effectively view the eclipse through the glasses.
